We can now announce that the successful proposal for the Four Corners Familiars Open Submission came from Mireille Fauchon.
We were overwhelmed by the number and the quality of the submissions and we spent a great deal of time considering them. But, ultimately, Mireille's proposed edition of The Prisoner Of Zenda by Anthony Hope proved the outstanding entry. We will be publishing the resulting book in 2010.
If you submitted a proposal, many thanks. The high standard of the entries meant that there were many proposals which would have made excellent books, and we're sorry if you were not successful this time.
We always try to offer advice to artists interested in making books, and while we are only able to publish a small number of titles each year, we are always keen to hear about book ideas, whether or not we are running an Open Submission programme. Visit the Contact Us page for more details.
