Our new series, Four Corners Familiars, features artists’ responses to classic novels and short stories. They provide a fresh look at the tradition of the illustrated novel, with each artist choosing a text to be reprinted in full alongside their newly created work.
Each book is different in style and format, according to the needs
of the artwork and the text. The first title was published in
December 2007, with two more in Autumn 2008.
Further titles, including Sea Stories illustrated by Kay Rosen and
short stories by Jane Bowles and Denton Welch illustrated by
Colter Jacobsen, will follow in 2009.
We are also currently inviting submissions for a sixth title in the series. Please see the Open Submission page for more details.
The series designer is John Morgan: www.morganstudio.co.uk
